Our personnel at Dommar have vast amounts of knowledge and field experience in safety management and supervision across a spectrum of disciplines such as mining, oil & gas, power and transmission, roads and infrastructure, rail and trams, potable and waste water treatment, etc.

 

Our team of professionals have the proven site experience with the technical knowledge to be able to develop and review safety management plans, safe work method statements, safe work instructions as well as Job Safety Environmental Analyses (JSEA).  This includes the review and audit of project delivery policies, plans and documentation to ensure compliance with best practice and current Occupational Health Safety and Welfare (OHS&W) legislation.  Our reviews and audits will ensure that a project’s delivery is made safely and with Zero Harm be this using either our Client”s already established systems and procedures or those of the Construction Contractor.

Dommar recognises the paramount importance for safety and is committed that this is the number one priority when delivering any project.  We accept the responsibility to proceed delivery of our works with sound risk management and apply and monitor appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure “Zero Harm” to the project work force and the environment.

To meet our Safety responsibilities, Dommar will ensure:

  • Compliance with all legislation, Acts, Standards and licensing requirements;

  • Adopts an open and transparent approach to sharing information with regard to our safety management and performance;

  • Educates and involve our employees and those of our Clients to achieve all safety objectives;

  • Informs Clients and Stakeholders of the project’s safety objectives;

 

Dommar provides and supports its Clients to fulfil their safety objectives by:

  • Developing safety management policies and procedures;

  • Identifying risks and mitigation procedures to deliver Zero Harm;

  • Identify safety training requirements for employees involved or exposed to prescribed activities under Act, Legislation, Regulation and best practices.
